N.B. It’s necessary to inspect the condition of the hot tub first. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations and instructions when opening it.
1. Make sure the hot tub circuit breaker is turned off.
2. Remove the protective coverings from the pipes (seals or cloths protecting the different openings).
3. Reinstall the jets and other accessories that go inside the tub.
4. Ensure your garden hose is long enough to reach the hot tub and the water pressure is high enough to fill it.
5. Start it by turning the circuit breaker on.
6. Fill the hot tub with a garden hose. This water is used to wash the spa.
7. Turn off the circuit breaker again and drain the water.
8. Fill the hot tub a second time, the same way as the first.
9. Add the sanitizing agents, then turn the circuit breaker back on.
10. Start the hot tub.
11. Test the water’s chemical levels.
