Why take care of the air ducts in your home? To purify the air and remove odours and humidity. Here’s what you need to do.

1. Start by turning off the ventilation and heating systems before cleaning.
2. Unscrew all air and heating vents to remove dust from around the edges and inside, using a vacuum cleaner, feather duster or rag.
3. Wipe residue and grills with a cleaning cloth and a multi-surface cleaning product.
4. Screw the grills back onto the vents.
5. If the air ducts are too deep and the vacuum cleaner and feather duster don’t reach, it’s better to call in air duct cleaning specialists to avoid damaging the ducts and ensure a quality cleaning.
